Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable Equipment Hauler / Operator to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable operating a variety of equipment and is available on short notice when equipment needs to be moved around job sites.

The right candidate will have experience loading, securing, transporting, and unloading equipment safely and efficiently while following all company and site safety requirements.

Duties

- Safely operate equipment such as forklifts, flatbeds, and other hauling vehicles to move heavy machinery and materials
- Transport equipment to and from jobsites as needed
- Load and unload equipment, ensuring loads are properly secured and transported safely and efficiently
- Wear required PPE and follow all company and site-specific safety standards
- Coordinate with project managers and site personnel to schedule pickups and deliveries efficiently
- Be professional and represent the company well on and off of the job site
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations to ensure a secure working environment at all times
- Assist with general labor on job sites when needed as required

Qualifications

- Valid drivers license




- Experience operating construction equipment and towing trailers
- Confident loading and hauling a variety of equipment
- Strong understanding of trailer safety, load securement, and safe operating practices
- Ability to work independently and make safe decisions on the job

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge to operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on machinery and vehicles
- Strong communication skills with team members and supervisors, able to communicate with office staff over the phone to schedule pick ups
- Valid forklift certification to handle material movement within warehouses or job sites is strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable

Availability

- This role is best suited for someone who has a flexible schedule and can respond to short notice calls. Or, if you are interested in completing general labor tasks on site we are searching for individuals willing to work long hours.

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
