Maan Farms is a place where family and friends gather to create magical memories. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Event Baker to join our growing team for the upcoming busy Fall season.

This is a full-time, seasonal contract position continuing until November 1st, with weekend availability required.

Job Summary:

As the Event Baker at Maan Farms, you will prepare a variety of baked goods including cookies, pies, scones, ice cream, loaves, and other seasonal treats.

Our baked goods are a key part of the Fall at the Farm experience, and this role ensures our most popular items are fresh, well-stocked, and consistently high quality.

Fall is our busiest season, so the ideal candidate must be organized, efficient, and able to work quickly in a high-volume environment while maintaining quality and adapting to changing demand.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and bake a variety of products, including cookies, pies, scones, loaves, and other seasonal items
- Follow established recipes, portion standards, and food preparation procedures
- Maintain consistent quality, appearance, taste, and presentation across all products
- Keep up with daily production targets and ensure key high-demand items remain stocked throughout operating hours
- Plan and prioritize baking tasks to ensure products are completed on schedule
- Assist with developing and testing seasonal products and recipes as needed
- Package, label, date, and store products according to food safety standards
- Monitor ingredient and packaging inventory and communicate ordering needs before supplies run low
- Follow all health, safety, sanitation,



and food-handling requirements
- Assist in other food preparation or market duties during high-volume periods when required

Qualifications:

- Previous professional baking experience
- Strong knowledge of baking methods, ingredients, food preparation, and kitchen standards
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and produce consistent results
- Strong organization, time-management, and multitasking skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Weekend availability is required
- Ability to work early mornings, holidays, and additional hours during peak periods as scheduled
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
