JMD Group LLP Chartered Professional Accountants is an established accounting firm in St. Paul, Alberta. We are located approximately 200KM northeast of Edmonton in a community of over 5,000 people.

Our office provides compilation, review, and audit services. We also provide personal and corporate income tax preparation and planning services as well as estate and succession planning services to clients in different stages of their lives. We are an approved training office. There are currently six partners ranging in age from 37 to 72, two staff CPA's, ten accounting technicians and two support staff.

Job Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Our ideal candidate would have administration, bookkeeping and payroll experience (a diploma or degree is not a requirement for the job). Previous public practice experience would be preferred but is not required.

Responsibilities of the position include:

- Bookkeeping and record management;
- Preparation of gaming reports for AGLC;




- Assisting clients with Service Canada benefits such as CPP/OAS/GIS/AB Senior advantages;
- Preparation of payroll, ROE’s and WCB annual returns;
- Preparation of various forms including T4’s, T5’s and T5018’s;
- Preparation of AgriInvest and AgriStability returns;
- Communications with CRA agents to assist clients;
- Experience with Caseware, Sage 50, Tax preparation software and Microsoft Office is an asset;
- Applicants must be self motivated and have strong communication and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time Salary: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
