Are you a skilled and experienced cook with a passion for creating delicious meals? UNA pizza + wine is looking for dedicated cooks to join our team and play a crucial role in our kitchen operations.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices
- Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of the Head Chef
- Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in taste and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
- Monitor food quality and freshness, rotating stock as necessary
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service and effective workflow
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Closing down the kitchen line at the end of the night according to UNA standards

Skills:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation techniques,



and kitchen equipment operation
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
