Highroad Excavating Ltd. is growing, and we're looking to add 2–3 experienced Pipe Layers to our team immediately.

Highroad Excavating is a well-established civil construction contractor specializing in underground utilities, site servicing, storm, sanitary and watermain installations, grading, and municipal infrastructure throughout the Lower Mainland.

We take pride in completing challenging projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard—and we're looking for people who do the same.

What You'll Be Doing

- Install sanitary, storm, and watermain systems.
- Install PVC, HDPE, concrete, and ductile iron pipe.
- Set manholes, catch basins, hydrants, valves, and related underground infrastructure.
- Check grade using lasers, level rods, and grade stakes.
- Communicate with operators and foremen to complete work safely and efficiently.
- Maintain safe trenching practices and follow WorkSafeBC and company safety requirements.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and productive jobsites.

We're Looking For Someone Who

- Has experience installing underground utility systems.
- Understands grades, elevations, bedding, and proper pipe installation.
- Can read plans and work from grade stakes.
- Works well with operators, labourers, and foremen.




- Takes pride in producing quality work.
- Is dependable, safety-conscious, and has a positive attitude.
- Holds a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence (preferred).
