Keir Plumbing & Heating Ltd. has been providing trusted commercial plumbing, heating, HVAC, and mechanical services throughout Winnipeg for over 65 years. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team.

What You'll Be Doing

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Service rooftop units (RTUs), split systems, make-up air units, exhaust systems, heat pumps, and refrigeration equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance for commercial and industrial clients.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration control systems.
- Install new HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Respond to emergency service calls when required.
- Complete service reports and documentation using our digital field management software.
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, and team members.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety and company standards.

Qualifications

- Journeyperson Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic (Red Seal preferred).
- Valid Manitoba Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Experience servicing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Gas fitting experience is considered a strong asset.
- Experience with boilers, hydronics, or commercial mechanical systems is an asset.
