As a Senior Editor, you’ll engage with both agents and recent authors to identify compelling nonfiction projects, guiding the editing process for up to 12 annual titles. Your abilities in project management, P&L; generation, and market trend analysis will help you strategically position these titles for success. Building relationships within the industry will allow you to effectively represent HarperCollins and foster a diverse publishing program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct substantive and line edits on manuscripts • Acquire nonfiction titles with strong market potential • Create compelling presentations and metadata for publications • Liaise regularly with the Editor in Chief • Attend industry events and network actively
