We're partnering with a well-established mining company that is advancing one of British Columbia's most exciting gold exploration projects. They're looking for an

Exploration Supervisor / Lead to take ownership of exploration programs, lead a talented technical team (core loggers and project geologists) to help drive the next phase of growth.

This is much more than a field-based role. You'll be involved in everything from planning exploration campaigns and managing drill programs to mentoring geologists, overseeing budgets, navigating permitting requirements, and collaborating with teams across the operation. If you enjoy balancing technical geology with leadership and project management, you'll thrive in this position.

What You'll Be Doing

No two days are the same, but your responsibilities will include:

Leading exploration programs from planning through execution.

Managing and mentoring geologists, field crews, contractors, and consultants.

Coordinating drilling programs and adjusting plans as geological results come in.

Overseeing exploration budgets, contractor performance, and project schedules.

Ensuring permitting, environmental compliance,



and regulatory reporting are completed accurately and on time.

Reviewing geological data, mapping, core logging, and technical reports while helping guide exploration strategy.

Tracking project progress, reporting on key milestones, and sharing results with leadership.

Working closely with operational and technical teams to keep projects moving safely and efficiently.

Building a strong safety culture while supporting the growth and development of your team.

What We're Looking For A Bachelor's degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or a related discipline.

Previous experience leading people and managing exploration or drilling programs.

A strong understanding of gold exploration and geological interpretation.

Experience working with BC permitting and environmental regulations.

Confidence using Leapfrog Geo, ArcGIS, GIS platforms, and other geological software.

Solid planning, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to keep multiple projects on track.
