We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Optical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our customers in selecting eyewear and assist with various tasks related to the optical retail environment. Responsibilities

- Greet and assist customers in selecting eyewear that meets their needs.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support for optical products.
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandising display.
- Upsell additional products and services to enhance the customer experience.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate transactions and inventory management.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.




- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications

- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Previous experience in retail sales or technology sales is preferred.
- Familiarity with product demos and technical sales processes is advantageous.
- Proven customer service experience with a focus on building relationships.
- Basic math proficiency for handling transactions accurately.
- Cash handling experience is required, along with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to demonstrate effective phone etiquette when interacting with customers.
