Advance your career as a Facility Maintenance Planning Specialist at the Wilder Institute’s Calgary Zoo. This full-time role focuses on scheduling maintenance, overseeing projects, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders. In this onsite position, you will coordinate operations like repairs and preventive maintenance using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Key responsibilities include planning maintenance activities, preparing cost estimates, managing vendors, and developing asset management strategies. You will foster strategic performance improvements while ensuring a safe setting for staff and animals. Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and coordinate maintenance and project activities
- Champion the CMMS while implementing efficiency upgrades




- Prepare time and cost estimates for various projects
- Oversee work of external contractors and manage contracts
- Collaborate with stakeholders on preventive maintenance programs Requirements:
- 7 years of facilities maintenance experience
- Proficient in computerized maintenance management systems
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Certified Engineering Technologist or related certification
- Class 5 Driver License issued in Alberta Utilize your expertise in maintenance planning and asset management while contributing to The Wilder Institute’s mission.
