Take charge as Facility Foreman for Hamiota & District Sports Complex in Manitoba. This full-time role includes managing operations for the sports complex and municipal parks while ensuring community engagement.
You will report to the Chief Administrative Officer and oversee the Hamiota Sports Complex and Municipal Park. This includes the wintertime hockey arena, curling arena, agricultural grounds, and the Hamiota Aquatic Centre. Ideal candidates will possess management skills and the ability to work autonomously while coordinating staff.
Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations of the sports complex • Oversee staffing for the Aquatic Centre • Coordinate maintenance of park facilities • Schedule evening and weekend shifts year-round • Ensure smooth ice making and grounds maintenance
Requirements: • Experience in facility management or sports operations • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision • Availability for versatile shifts, including evenings and weekends • Ice making and grounds maintenance skills are assets
