Our Environmental

Services team is recruiting Field Technicians for the upcoming archaeology season, starting April-May 2026. You’ll participate in extensive outdoor labor, archaeological excavations, and artifact handling. This role requires travel across Ontario and may involve overnight work depending on project demands. Key Responsibilities:

- Under licensed archaeologists, carry out various field activities
- Execute site excavation and monitor quality
- Document sites and collect artifacts accurately
- Follow Stantec's safety and environmental protocols
- Build partnerships with Indigenous communities Requirements:
- Must have experience with strenuous outdoor work
- Availability for travel across Ontario
- Preferred: Full G driver’s license in valuable standing
- Ability to work well both independently and in teams
- Willingness to learn and adapt Leverage your outdoor work skills and embrace archaeology with Stantec as part of a dedicated team.
