About the Role

Volta Energy Solutions Canada is seeking a dedicated and analytical Financial Analyst / Sr. Analyst to join our Business Management (FP&A;) team. In this role, you will play a key part in mid-to-long-term financial planning, profitability analysis, and supporting management decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting: Establish mid-to-long-term strategic plans and annual operational plans (AOP / LRP / HBR).

Profitability Analysis & Forecasting: Analyze business unit performance (P&L;), monitor variance against targets, and provide financial forecasts.

KPI & Target Management: Define, track, and consolidate monthly and annual financial KPIs across departments.

Budget Execution Control: Review and manage budgets by business unit, department, and account; monitor actual vs. budget spending.

Month-End Closing & Costing: Execute financial closing tasks using SAP (CO Module), perform product costing, and analyze cost/expense variances.

Investment & Financial Feasibility: Track capex execution, support feasibility reviews for strategic investments, product developments,



and business restructuring.

Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports and financial analysis decks to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher (Majors in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or Economics preferred).

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A;), Management Accounting, or Corporate Finance.

Language Skills: Fluency in English (both verbal and written business reporting) is required.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Strong fundamentals in corporate finance and managerial accounting.

Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).

Hands-on experience with SAP (CO module) and financial month-end closing processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Practical operating experience with SAP CO Module.

Background in the manufacturing or production industry.

Experience working in a global or multinational corporate setting.
