Join the City of Kenora as a Fleet Mechanic (310T) and support essential city services by maintaining a diverse municipal vehicle fleet. This full time position offers predictable work hours.

In this in-person role, the successful candidate will troubleshoot and repair various municipal vehicles and equipment, ensuring they meet health and safety standards. You will operate diagnostic tools, maintain records, and train apprentices when needed. Experience with different engine systems and electrical mechanics is required.

Key Responsibilities: • Operate diagnostic instruments for vehicle repairs • Adjust and replace mechanical parts • Create and maintain service records for equipment • Perform safety checks to ensure compliance • Provide field assistance to vehicles in need

Requirements: • Certified Truck and Coach Technician (310T) • Three years of progressive diesel engine experience • Class “G” Driver’s License required • Know-how of CVOR requirements and regulations • Excellent communication and organizational skills
