Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks to transport flooring products to various customer sites.
- Load and unload flooring materials using equipment such as forklifts or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper securing of cargo.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and warehouse teams regarding delivery schedules, delays, or issues encountered on routes.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to ensure safe delivery operations at all times.
Experience
- Must have a valid BC Drivers License.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving is preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
- Strong communication skills for interacting professionally with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of local routes, traffic laws, and safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Customer service experience that emphasizes positive interactions and problem-solving skills.
