The Flutter Developer Volunteer will support the development of our mobile application using Flutter and Dart . You will work closely with our web developers, UI/UX designers, and leadership team to implement features, improve performance, and create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about mental health advocacy and eager to apply their mobile development skills to a meaningful cause.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain mobile app features using Flutter (Dart)
- Collaborate with designers to implement UI/UX elements
- Integrate REST APIs and ensure stable communication with backend services
- Optimize performance across Android and iOS devices
- Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Participate in team discussions, planning, and reviews
- Provide suggestions to enhance user experience and platform stability
Requirements
- Experience with Flutter and Dart (personal or professional projects acceptable)
- Understanding of mobile development best practices
- Familiarity with REST APIs, state management (e.g., Provider, Bloc, Riverpod), and responsive design
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
- Robust problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to contribute 10–15 hours per week
- Good communication skills and ability to work remotely
