Overview

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Food Counter Attendant to join our team in providing exceptional customer service in a quick-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving food items, operating POS systems, and ensuring a clean and sanitized work area. Duties

- Prepare and assemble food orders according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
- Operate Micros POS systems for order processing, cash handling, and transaction accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly, take orders accurately, and upsell menu items when appropriate.
- Handle cash transactions efficiently while maintaining proper cash register procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, utensils, and food preparation areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Assist with food storage, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper food handling practices.




- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and creating a welcoming environment.
- Follow all sanitation protocols to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met consistently.

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle cash handling accurately and efficiently.
- Basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash register operations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
- Experience in upselling menu items to enhance sales is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

This role is perfect for motivated individuals looking to gain valuable experience in the food industry while delivering outstanding service to customers. Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
