Job Title: Food Production Worker/Trimmer

Work Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm (slicing department)

Location: 11520 Eburne Way, Richmond, V6V 2G7 (access to reliable transportation is required, as we are located on Mitchell Island with limited access to public transit); fully on-site

Role Overview:

The Production Worker/Trimmer is responsible for the production of our premium seafood products (smoked salmon and other fish), while ensuring products are processed and handled according to food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Production Worker/Trimmer

- Trim fish fillets with a knife
- Bagging products
- Rotate stock (this involves infrequent manual weight handling/lifting of up to 40 lbs with access to team lift assistance, and occasionally accessing the cooler)
- Follow company policies relating to GMP, food safety, and occupational health and safety
- Work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve operational success
- Work environment is around ~15 degrees C
- Additional duties as assigned





Required Competencies:

- Detail-oriented team player with positive mindset
- Ability to make sound judgement and act with integrity
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Physically fit to perform manual weight handling/lifting of up to 40 lbs with access to team lift assistance
- Ability to safely use a knife (i.e. hand dexterity)
- Basic English communication skills

Nice To Have Qualifications:

- Experience in a food manufacturing environment
- Ability to speak a second language
