Twenty Eighty
Canada
Twenty Eighty is looking for a full-time, experienced Controller who loves working with entrepreneurs, leading technology and amazing team members.
And before we get into the nuts and bolts, please note that while this position is remote, we are only considering Canadian based candidates at this time.
About Twenty
Eighty
Twenty Eighty is a 100% cloud based firm that helps small businesses scale from $0 to $100,000,000 in revenue. Our sweet spot for clients is squarely in the $2,000,000 to $20,000,000 revenue range. We started Twenty Eighty because we know that there are founders and entrepreneurs out there that understand where their time is best spent.
And when they are given access to a top end finance function, they are truly free to grow their business. From there, amazing things start to happen. How much better would life be if they had help with their cash flow?
How much more could they make if they properly tracked costs? What if they didn't have to worry about systems, data entry or tax filings? And on top of the basics, what if they had someone challenging them and pushing their charge for growth?
We collaborate and communicate constantly. We set up best practice systems and processes. We educate our clients on how they should run their business from a financial lens. Then we use that foundation to advise them, helping them grow and succeed.
Our team is much more self-sufficient than most. We bring a strong operational lens to everything that we do. We like being gritty, innovative, empathetic, collaborative, supportive, action oriented and human obsessed.
In a world where AI is taking over, we believe investing in our people is the best path forward. You will often hear us say "rising tides lift all boats."
We are very different and pride ourselves on that fact.
When other people zig, we always zag.
About Our
Team
We built Twenty Eighty to be different, our own team included. We are a cohesive, collaborative, relatable and tight knit group working towards a common vision. We have a “bottom up” approach to client work, fostering greater one to one relationships and ability for our team members to create impact.
We offer adaptable remote and hybrid work environments. And our compensation and benefits are on the top end of ranges.
We don’t believe in burning out our team. We believe in supporting each other and lifting each other up.
