Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Literacy Interventionist to support students in developing their reading and writing skills in French. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ literacy skills and confidence. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for literacy instruction, strong communication skills, and experience working with children, including those with diverse learning needs.

You will implement targeted instructional strategies, collaborate with educators and families, and foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and curiosity.

Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging, evidence-based literacy instruction tailored to francophone students, students learning French as a second language, and/or students with learning disabilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans using instructional design principles to meet individual student goals.
- Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, adjusting strategies as needed.




- Collaborate with families to support student success across various settings.
- Support students with disabilities by implementing accommodations and modifications.

Skills

- Proven experience working with children in educational or tutoring settings.
- Robust classroom experience with the ability to manage diverse learner needs confidently.
- Familiarity with special education practices and experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication skills to engage students, collaborate with colleagues, and connect with families.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for learners at various skill levels while maintaining an energetic and motivating approach.
