Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Front of House/Event Manager to lead our hospitality and event operations. In this dynamic role, you will oversee daily front-of-house activities, coordinate events, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Your leadership will drive team performance, uphold food safety standards, and create a welcoming environment for guests.

Responsibilities

- Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent customer service
- Coordinate all aspects of events, from planning and setup to execution and breakdown, ensuring client satisfaction
- Manage food preparation and food handling procedures in compliance with safety standards
- Oversee cash handling processes, including POS transactions using POS systems, ensuring accuracy and security
- Lead hiring efforts by interviewing candidates and onboarding recent team members to build a motivated workforce
- Enforce food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards in all service areas
- Provide leadership during busy service periods,



supporting staff and resolving guest concerns promptly

Skills

- Proven experience in food service, restaurant management, or hospitality environments with a focus on front-of-house operations
- Strong supervisory and team management skills with experience in interviewing and training staff
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices
- Familiarity with POS systems and platforms for cash handling and order processing
- Experience in managing restaurant or hotel operations, including barista experience or bar management is a plus
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, supervise food handling procedures, and ensure compliance with health regulations
