Job Overview The Grumpy Veteran is looking to add mature, dependable team members to our restaurant. We are currently hiring for two separate positions:

- Front of House
- Kitchen/Prep Helper

We are a busy, fast-paced restaurant that serves fresh, homemade food and takes pride in providing great customer service. We're looking for people who are reliable, hardworking, and take pride in doing a good job.

Front of House Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional customer service.
- Take customer orders using our easy-to-learn Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages.
- Keep the dining area clean, organized, and well stocked.
- Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties.

Kitchen/Prep Helper Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and meal service.
- Work alongside the head cook during busy service periods.
- Prepare ingredients and help keep food service running smoothly.




- Maintain a clean, organized kitchen.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Restock supplies and assist with general kitchen duties.

What We're Looking For
- A mature, dependable individual with a strong work ethic.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work with minimal supervision once trained.
- Able to take initiative and recognize what needs to be done.
- Comfortable working efficiently in a fast-paced workplace.
- A positive team player with a willingness to learn.
- Available to work evenings and weekends.
- Food handlers course is not required , however is an asset

Previous restaurant experience is an asset but not required. We are happy to train the right person. Pay: $17.60-$18.60 per hour
