Join the East Kootenay Regional Hospital team as a full time Orthopedic Surgeon in Cranbrook, BC.
Experience the stunning Kootenay Rockies while providing essential orthopedic care. As a vital member of our Orthopaedic Department, this role offers a chance to collaborate with five experienced surgeons. The focus is on general community orthopaedics, with opportunities in hip/knee arthroplasty and sports surgery. Candidates with fellowship training in arthroplasty, trauma, or lower extremity are encouraged to apply, as team cohesion is a priority. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general orthopedic care and specialized treatments
- Participate in elective OR time and hospital-based cast clinic
- Share on-call responsibilities, averaging 1:5
- Engage in locum placement for team integration
- Maintain certification with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
Requirements:
- Eligible for FRCSC certification in orthopaedics
- Experience with community orthopedic practices
- Open to sharing office space arrangements
- Commitment to a patient-centric approach
- Licensed to practice in British Columbia
