Position: FX Front Office Support Engineer

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced FX Front Office Support Engineer to provide production support for business-critical Front Office trading applications within the Capital Markets domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Unix/Linux, SQL, Geneos, Control-M, and incident management, with experience supporting trading platforms and collaborating with traders, quants, and technical teams to ensure application stability, rapid issue resolution, and seamless business operations. Exposure to cloud technologies, DevOps, Kubernetes, Grafana, and scripting (Shell/Python) is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

- Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with ITRS Geneos Monitoring (or equivalent enterprise monitoring tools).
- Hands-on experience with Control-M job scheduling and batch monitoring.
- Robust knowledge of SQL, including querying, troubleshooting, and data analysis.
- Experience in incident management, problem management,



and production support activities.

Domain Expertise

- Experience in Capital Markets domain.
- Prior exposure to supporting applications used by Trading Desks, Front Office, Middle Office, or Quantitative teams.
- Understanding of trade lifecycle, market data, and financial products is highly preferred.

Communication Skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with business users, traders, quants, and technical teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and AI-powered productivity solutions.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Experience with Grafana monitoring and observability tools.
- Working knowledge of Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Shell Script or Python.
