the company is seeking a GitHub Automation Engineer to join our Technology & Engineering practice in Toronto. This role is ideal for someone with a strong DevOps/DevSecOps background who enjoys designing automation solutions that improve software delivery, developer experience, and operational efficiency. Working closely with engineering teams, you will develop and enhance GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows, helping to standardize CI/CD processes and embed automation across the software development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do - Design, develop, and maintain GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows to automate CI/CD processes.

- Build automation solutions using Python, Java, or Groovy to improve engineering productivity and platform reliability.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to implement DevOps and DevSecOps best practices.
- Improve software delivery through scalable, secure, and reusable automation frameworks.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and continuously enhance GitHub-based development workflows. What We’re Looking For - Hands‑on experience developing GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
- Strong programming experience in Python or Java/Groovy.
- Proven background in DevOps and/or DevSecOps environments.
- Experience designing automation solutions across the software development lifecycle.
- Excellent collaboration, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
