Key Responsibilities:
• Design a curriculum rooted in Indigenous knowledge • Ensure cultural perspectives are respected in teaching • Address equity and promote student belonging • Liaise with community members for program enhancements • Incorporate land-based learning into lesson plans
Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Education • Must hold a valid Northwest Territories teaching certificate • In-depth understanding of Indigenous traditions • Experience in competency-based education and assessment • Solid interpersonal and communication skills
