This is a part-time, remote Graphic Designer role.
The Graphic
Designer will create visual assets for digital and print channels, including graphics for reports, presentations, social media, and the online platform.
Responsibilities include developing and refining brand-aligned layouts, icons, and infographics, collaborating with content and research teams to translate data and insights into clear visual stories, and preparing files optimized for web and print. The role also involves maintaining brand consistency across all materials,
iterating on designs based on feedback, and supporting the evolution of the Indigenous Energy Monitor visual identity. Qualifications
Strong skills in Graphic Design and Graphics, with experience creating visuals for digital and print materials.
Demonstrated ability in Logo Design and Branding, including developing and maintaining cohesive visual identities.
Proficiency in Typography, with a solid understanding of hierarchy, readability, and accessibility in design.
Competence with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud or equivalent) and basic knowledge of design for web.
Ability to interpret data and research into explicit, engaging visual formats such as infographics and charts.
Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and experience working independently in a remote environment.
Understanding or interest in Indigenous issues, energy, or resource sectors is an asset.
Relevant education or equivalent professional experience in graphic design, visual communications, or a related field.
