At Days Inn Orillia we want to create memorable experiences! These experiences begin and end with our Guest Service Agents. We are looking for outgoing, friendly, and hospitable candidates to join our Front Office team in the role of Full-Time as well as Part-Time/Full-Time Guest Service Agent!

Responsibilities

- Provides excellent guest service to all guests
- Greets, checks in, and settles all guest accounts
- Helps guests with any inquiries, and provides assistance where necessary in a professional manner
- Answers all incoming phone calls and takes reservations
- Accurately follows cash handling procedures
- Adheres to all department and Company's policies and procedures
- Resolves customer issues, complaints and problems in a quick and efficient manner to maintain a high level customer satisfaction and quality service
- Accurately follows cash handling procedures
- Ensures guests' security by the proper handling of guest room keys and personal information
- Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell room nights, hotel loyalty program, and to increase occupancy and revenue opportunities

Candidate Requirements:




- At least one year Hotel Front Office/Night Audit experience is an asset for this position
- Experience with the Synxis PMS is a definite asset
- High School or University/College Diploma is preferred
- Commitment to customer satisfaction
- Passion for customer service, enthusiastic, detail oriented, computer literate, fast learner
- Excellent communications skills
- Works well under pressure in a changing environment
- Fluency in English, written and verbal; a second language is an asset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Able to stand for an 8 hour shift
- Flexibility in shifts: mornings, evenings, weekends, statutory holidays
- Valid work permit and/or SIN is required
