SYSTRA Canada is part of the SYSTRA group, an international consulting and engineering group, a world leader in the design of transport infrastructures. SYSTRA Canada is an engineering and consulting firm whose primary focus is to offer transportation solutions, whether for passengers or goods: feasibility studies of building a new railway line, increasing the capacity of the existing infrastructure, privatization of a railway.
This role will be supporting SYSTRA Canada team on various projects in Toronto.
Leveraging SYSTRA’s centres of excellence, the team coordinates multi-site production, harmonizes deliverables, and facilitates interfaces with the project management, the client, and stakeholders.
Coordinate and monitor multi-site technical production across SYSTRA’s engineering centres.
Participate in follow-up and coordination meetings with project management and the client.
Organize and streamline information flow to production teams.
Supervise and harmonize technical deliverables across all stakeholders.
The Project Technical Coordinator acts as the interface among involved disciplines. They organize production and are accountable for technical progress, schedule and cost compliance, and the quality of deliverables.
Reporting to the Technical Manager, the Project Technical Coordinator will:
Coordinate related activities with stakeholders (SYSTRA internal teams, subcontractors).
Ensure compliance with and control of commitments (scope, schedule, costs).
Monitor the production of technical deliverables and support coordination of teams in addressing client comments.
Ensure technical deliverables comply with contractual requirements and applicable standards.
Organize and lead technical production progress meetings.
Provide regular progress reporting on the production of technical deliverables.
Degree in computer, electrical, systems engineering, or a related field.
5 to 10 years in a similar role in technical project coordination.
Experience in rail, tramway, metro, or infrastructure projects is an asset.
Technical Competencies Strong knowledge of distributed computing systems, virtualization, IP networks, and SCADA/BMS (redundant architectures, I/O).
Experience in configuration management and technical documentation (traceability, version control, writing standards).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Technical Manager
Remuneration : CAD 80,000 - 110,000 annually
