About the Role:

Thrive at Home Care is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and skilled Home Health Aide to support a client in their home. This role involves a consistent schedule.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with morning routine (bathing, grooming, dressing, oral hygiene)
- Safe transfers (bed → wheelchair, shower chair, etc.)
- Skin integrity monitoring and repositioning
- Light housekeeping related to care needs
- Companionship and supervision during downtime
- Maintain clear communication with the client and owner
- Follow safety protocols and client preferences

Qualifications:

- Certified Health Care Aide required
- Experience working with clients with Alzheimer, Dementia and Down Syndrome
- Training in safe client handling and transfers
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to update)
- Clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector
- Class 5 drivers license and clean drivers abstract




- Reliability, professionalism, excellent communication

Schedule & Availability:

- 3 hours per day (Mondays, Wednessdays and Fridays 9am to 12pm)
- Consistent weekly schedule
- Must be dependable and punctual

Compensation:

- 20–$25/hour, depending on experience
- Additional hours may become available
