Join De Havilland Canada as a Health & Safety Business Partner and ensure excellence in manufacturing safety. This role is crucial in supporting protected aircraft production processes. As a strategic partner in health and safety, you will report directly to the Health, Safety and Environment Manager.
Your role involves training employees, conducting audits, and implementing safety strategies that enhance operations at DHC. With extensive experience in health and safety, you will directly impact the DHC-515 aircraft assembly, improving compliance and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee health and safety compliance and policies
- Update and manage incident management programs
- Develop key performance reports for leadership
- Lead investigations to prevent future incidents
- Ensure ergonomics program supports employee safety Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
- 10+ years in Health & Safety management
- Familiarity with aircraft manufacturing environments
- Experience with emergency response plans
- Proven track record in H&S; program leadership Your expertise will contribute to making aviation safer and more efficient at DHC.
