Lotus Industrial is looking for an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy-duty vehicles and industrial equipment that keeps our operations running safely and efficiently.

Working primarily in our shop, with occasional field service work, you'll tackle a wide variety of mechanical and electrical repairs. Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
- Maintain specialized paint and thermoplastic systems
- Complete CVIP inspections and ensure fleet compliance
- Perform field repairs as required




- Maintain service records and manage shop inventory
- Follow and enforce all safety procedures (PPE, LOTO, FLHA)

Qualifications:
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician (Red Seal) – Required
- Valid CVIP License – Required
- Class 1 or Class 3 License with Air Brakes – Required
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience mentoring apprentices is a
