Our Regina Components team is looking for a qualified technician (heavy equipment, agriculture, truck and transport, automotive or apprentice) to clean, rebuild and inspect components.
Compensation & Benefits
- Wage: $42.62 - $51.57
- Continuous shift premium: $3.50
- Bonus target: 4%
- Vacation, sick leave and 7 days flex time in Year 1

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Component rebuild
- Condition reporting
- Verify components according to CAT reusability guidelines
- Clean and inspect components
- Operate bench testing pieces
- Operate engine dynos
- Interface with customers, product and sales support
- Work with supervisors on various tasks
- Engage in equipment and facility continuous improvements
- Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment
- Perform various related duties as required
Qualifications
- Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technician Certification (Automotive, Truck and Transport or Agriculture certification may be considered)
- Apprentices considered on experience
- Dedication to safety
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills,
both written and verbal
- Understanding of the Caterpillar product line is an asset
- Engine and/or component rebuilding experience is an asset
- Transmission or hydraulic testing experience is an asset
- Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset
- Experience with SIS, ET and warranty systems is an asset
Key Details
- This position is located at the Regina (S00) branch on a 7x7 continuous shift
- Position is for the components team
- Condition of employment: must be fit tested and able to wear a respirator
