Design and build native Android applications for robot data annotation, dataset review, and experiment tracking in the field.
Build fast, reliable mobile experiences for real-time and near-real-time data capture alongside live robot operation.
Utilize data-driven techniques to optimize interfaces for efficiency and fast iteration cycles.
Integrate AI models to automate manual annotation and review tasks.
Work closely with AI researchers, robot operators, and annotators to support recent mobile-first user experiences.
Partner with our web tooling team to ensure consistent data models and workflows across mobile and web surfaces.
Strong software engineering fundamentals.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of professional, full-time experience building native Android applications.
Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java, and the modern Android toolchain (Jetpack Compose, Android SDK/NDK).
Bonus Qualifications Experience integrating with data stores (Postgres, MySQL, ElasticSearch, Redis, etc.).
