Registered Nurse (RN) – Temporary Full-Time Private Home Care Position

Duration: Weeks to months (based on patient’s care needs)

Compensation: $50/hour

We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses to join a dedicated team providing one-on-one private home care for a palliative care patient in Westmount.

This is a temporary full-time opportunity for a nurse looking for consistent hours while providing high-quality, personalized care in a home setting. The duration of the position will depend on the patient’s evolving care needs.

Schedule

- 12-hour shifts:
- Day Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Night Shift: 9:00 PM – 9:00 AM
- Availability required: approximately 5–7 shifts per week

Due to the short-notice start, we are looking for nurses with strong availability, flexibility, and reliability who can commit to regular shifts.

Responsibilities

- Provide compassionate palliative nursing care
- Monitor patient condition and manage symptoms




- Administer medications and treatments as required
- Provide comfort-focused care and support
- Communicate with family members and the healthcare team
- Complete nursing documentation and updates

Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensed with the OIIQ
- Bachelor of Nursing preferred
- Previous hospital experience required
- Palliative care, oncology, or complex care experience is an asset
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Professional, reliable, and compassionate
