We are looking for a Senior HR Generalist to join our North American Shared Services HR team. This position supports employees and leaders across multiple business units throughout the entire employee lifecycle, with a strong emphasis on Disability Management, including CNESST cases and RAMQ compliance.
This role operates within an AI-enabled shared services environment, leveraging technology and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and service delivery. The position focuses on using sound judgment, managing exceptions, and ensuring high-quality results across HR processes. You will act as a trusted resource on HR policies, employment standards, and employee relations, working closely with HR Business Partners, Payroll, and external vendors.
You will regularly assist employees, facilitate onboarding sessions, and communicate programs in both English and French. You will also contribute to acquisition integrations, including onboarding employees and aligning HR programs across newly acquired business units. Additionally, you will support the administration of the Employee Share Ownership Plan and bonus programs, including validating eligibility, preparing reports, and communicating program details in collaboration with Finance and key stakeholders.
As part of this position, you will use AI tools to enhance HR operations,
including supporting ticket triage, creating and standardizing employee communications, assisting with reporting and data analysis, and improving workflow efficiency.
Responsibilities Full bilingual proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken
Experience using Workday or another HR software platform and HR ticketing systems such as Dovetail
At least 5 years of HR experience, with demonstrated expertise in employee relations, disability management, or Canadian and Quebec employment legislation
Strong understanding of employment standards across provinces, including Quebec-specific requirements related to CNESST and RAMQ
Experience managing disability cases and processes
Solid organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Ability to exercise sound judgment when handling complex and sensitive situations
Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
Comfortable working independently within a remote, distributed team
Ability to work effectively in an AI-enabled environment, including reviewing and validating outputs produced by automation tools Qualifications Experience working with HR software; Workday experience is an advantage.
Experience working in a shared services or high-volume HR workplace
Experience leveraging AI or automation tools to streamline workflows, reporting, or employee communications
Experience administering ESOP or incentive compensation programs
Experience supporting M&A; integrations or working within shared services environments Pay: CA$60k to CA$70k
