Posted Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 10:00 AM Position Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)- Contract Reports To: SVP, Human Resources Salary Range: 75k-85k CAD Position Summary: The HRBP is responsible for supporting all human resources functions at the site level. This includes talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compliance, and HR strategy implementation. The role ensures alignment with corporate HR policies while addressing the unique needs of the site.
Essential Functions: HR Support Partner with site leadership to align HR strategies with business goals. Drive organizational change and culture initiatives. Lead workforce planning and talent management efforts.
Employee
Relations &
- Engagement Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution. Handle employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary actions. Implement employee engagement and retention strategies.
Talent
Acquisition &
- Onboarding Lead recruitment processes to attract and retain top talent. Ensure effective onboarding and orientation programs.
Performance Management
Support managers in setting goals, conducting evaluations, and managing performance. Promote a culture of continuous feedback and development. Training &
- Development Identify training needs and coordinate learning initiatives. Support leadership development and succession planning. Compliance &
- HR Operations Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies. Maintain accurate HR records and reports. Support payroll, benefits, and HRIS administration at the site level.
Position
Qualifications &
Skills: Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience: 2+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles. Solid knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or industrial environment is a plus.
Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills. HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP, HROne) is desirable.
The Human Resources Business
Partner will work in both office and plant environments, requiring regular presence on the production floor as well as in administrative settings. The role involves approximately 30% travel to other company sites, vendor locations, or for training and development purposes.
