Tabreed Thermal Control Ltd, a Hamilton-based HVAC and refrigeration company, is looking to hire a qualified HVAC technician to support our expanding commercial service operations.

Salary: $21 to $25

Education

Other trades certificate or diploma (Mohawk College HVAC program or similar preferred)or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to 3 years

Responsibilities· Install and overhaul heating systems

· Install refrigeration systems

· Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems

· Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation· Troubleshoot heating systems

· Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems

· Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components

· Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment

· Provide customer service· Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices

· Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system

· Interpret gas codes

· Handle, recover and store refrigerants

· Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning,



ventilation or heat pump systems

Supervision

· Gasfitters

Credentials

· Must have G2 Gas License

· Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

· Ability to work independently and in a team workplace

.· Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

.· Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
