Air Filter Sales and Service is hiring Industrial Service Technicians to join our hardworking, down-to-earth team. What You Will Do
- Work with a team of Service Technicians delivering superior quality installations, maintenance, and repairs of industrial air filtration systems
- Adhere to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliance while wearing personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and mobile equipment
- Complete work orders, hazard assessments, and other required documentation, as per company policy and procedures
- Maintain a clean and secure work environment
- Perform demanding tasks (standing, climbing, lifting, crawling)
- Communicate with clients or facility managers to explain service procedures and recommend improvements
- Safely operate company vehicles to service locations and transport equipment and supplies
What You Bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Physically fit and be able to lift 50lbs+
- Comfortable working in varying and challenging indoor and outdoor environments (dusty, dirty, noisy, and in various seasonal weather conditions)
- Comfortable working at heights including climbing ladders and elevated lift platforms
- Comfortable working in confined spaces for extended periods of time
- Positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and proven interpersonal abilities
- A valid class 5 driver's license complete with a clean driving record
- Clean background check (may be required for successful candidates prior to hire)
- Ability to accommodate evening and weekend work
- Ability to work out of town
Assets That Set You Apart
- Confined Space, Fall Protection, WHMIS, CSTS and /or First Aid Certifications
- Prior experience driving large vehicles with trailers
- Technical knowledge of process and plant equipment in a manufacturing environment
