Under the supervision of the Manager, Clinical Operations, the Infection Control Practitioner plays a pivotal role in improving infection safety standards within healthcare settings.
You will engage in infection surveillance, develop educational initiatives, and assess systems for effective infection control. Your collaborative approach will influence practices and policies impacting patient and community health. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough infection surveillance and reporting
- Design and implement effective infection control programs
- Analyze data and conduct audits to improve practices
- Serve as a resource for healthcare teams on infection issues
- Report communicable diseases as mandated by Public Health Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant health sciences
- At least three years of experience in acute clinical care
