This position will provide technical support to all the Office of the State Auditor (OSA) divisions and its clients. Technical support services include workstation, network, software support and configuration. This position may serve as a primary or backup role in supporting all OSA systems.

This position is expected to work more independently as the incumbent learns more about technologies used by the OSA. This is a temporary position that will end no later than October 5, 2026. This position will report to the Office of the State Auditor, 525 Park Street, Suite 500, St.

Paul, Minnesota on Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.

Minimum Qualifications Minimum of one (1) year of IT related experience should include the following: Experience providing technical support to end-users in a hybrid work environment.

Experience installing and configuring workstation software, and Windows Operating Systems (OS).

Experience supporting Microsoft M365/Office productivity suite (Outlook, MS Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).

Experience troubleshooting network connectivity issues with VPN, LAN/WAN, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

Experience managing user permissions using Active Directory (AD).

Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Excellent customer service skills that include active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications Two (2) years of IT technical support experience in a Helpdesk or Desktop support environment.

Two (2) years of experience installing and configuring Windows desktop and server operating system.





Experience with network equipment such as routers, switches, servers, printers, scanners, and SANs.

Experience with Audit engagement software such as Teammate, or CaseWare Working Papers.

Experience with Laserfiche or other document management system.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Excellent time management and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements Ability to work in a seated or standing position for extended periods of time.

Ability to use a keyboard for extended periods of time which may include repetitive motion.
