Reporting to the Manager, Social Work Programs, the Instructor, Social Services

Worker Program is responsible for delivering high-quality post-secondary education that prepares adult learners for careers in the social services field.

The position develops, delivers,



and evaluates classroom and practicum-based learning experiences that equip students with the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required to work effectively in Nunavut communities. Working closely with government departments, community organizations, and practicum partners across the territory, the Instructor ensures program content reflects current social work practices, northern realities, and Inuit societal values. Through instruction, mentorship, and student support, the position contributes to the development of competent, culturally responsive social service professionals who help strengthen the wellbeing of individuals,
