About the Opportunity

We are seeking a creative and motivated post-secondary student to produce polished, engaging video content for our website and social media channels.

This is a hands-on chance to develop real-world experience in video strategy, concept development, filming, editing, and brand storytelling within an innovative healthcare startup. The selected intern will help translate scientific, product, and company stories into clear and engaging content for patients, healthcare professionals, partners, and investors.

This is a hybrid internship. Applicants must live in the Greater Vancouver area and be available for occasional in-person meetings and filming sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop creative concepts for short-form and longer-form videos.

Prepare scripts, storyboards, hooks, and basic production plans.

Film and edit educational, promotional, product, and behind-the-scenes content.

Create videos optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and NellaDerm’s website.

Add captions, graphics, music, transitions, and other brand elements.

Record voiceovers or appear on camera when appropriate.

Repurpose existing content into platform-specific video formats.

Collaborate with the NellaDerm team to ensure scientific accuracy and brand consistency.

Review video performance and recommend improvements based on audience engagement.

Ideal Candidate

Creative, proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a startup environment.





Experienced with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools.

Familiar with social media trends, storytelling techniques, and short-form video formats.

Able to communicate healthcare and scientific topics clearly and engagingly.

Comfortable filming, editing, recording voiceovers, and potentially appearing on camera.

Interested in healthcare, science, skincare, digital health, entrepreneurship, or innovation.

Previous experience creating content for healthcare, science, consumer products, or startups is an asset but not required.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must

Be enrolled in a full-time or part-time post-secondary program at a Canadian institution.

Be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or protected person.

Currently live in the Greater Vancouver area.

Be available to participate in the internship in a hybrid format.
