Role Description This full-time, on-site role is based in the Greater Kitchener-Cambridge-Waterloo Metropolitan Area and supports the City of Woodstock’s municipal operations and community services. The successful candidate will carry out day-to-day tasks that may include providing service to residents, assisting with administrative and operational duties, and supporting departmental projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities can involve maintaining records and documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and contributing to process improvements. The role may also include participating in meetings,



preparing reports or communications, and ensuring compliance with relevant municipal policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Robust organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a busy municipal environment.

Effective written and verbal communication skills for interacting with residents, colleagues, and external stakeholders.

Proficiency with common office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email) and the ability to learn municipal systems and tools.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently with minimal supervision.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation, data entry, and reporting.

Customer service orientation, with a professional, respectful, and inclusive approach to serving a diverse community.

Relevant education or training in a related field (such as public administration, business, or a technical discipline) is an asset.

Previous experience in a municipal, public sector, or community-focused role is considered beneficial.
