We are seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyman/woman Technician to join our energetic team. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive automotive repairs, diagnostics, and troubleshooting using schematics and technical manuals.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform repairs, modifications, and assembly work efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor safely during maintenance tasks or equipment installation.
- Follow detailed schematics and mechanical diagrams to accurately assemble or disassemble components.
- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance and quality assurance.
- Assist in routine maintenance tasks to ensure machinery and vehicles operate reliably and safely.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repair needs and timelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a mechanic or technician in a dealership or similar automotive environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in welding techniques and the use of various hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics.
- Demonstrated experience with automotive repair, assembly, and troubleshooting processes.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy machinery, welding, and vehicle repair.
- Valid mechanic certification or equivalent journeyman/woman status preferred.
