Who we are:

We are a fast-growing, innovative, people-friendly, and inclusive production company creating factual and scripted content with a global reach.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Junior Accounting & Office Administrator to join our team in the film production industry.

In this role, you will manage full-cycle bookkeeping, accounts payable, credit card reconciliations, payroll processing and office administrative duties across our primary company and associate entities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounts Payable & Credit Card Management

- Manage and monitor corporate credit card accounts for primary and associate companies.
- Collect and retrieve physical/digital receipts.

2. General Bookkeeping & Banking Operations

- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the company’s primary bank account in QuickBooks.
- Post purchases, intercompany cash transfers and deposits.

3. Full-Cycle Payroll

- Process vendor invoices and payroll bills in QuickBooks; set up online bank payments and clear bills post-processing.
- Calculate and post employee pay and payroll deductions.

4. Reporting & Vendor Relations

- Assist with weekly/monthly/quarterly internal/compliance reporting duties.
- Proactively liaise with vendors and businesses via phone and email to resolve any billing issues,



missing receipts and payment queries.

5. Administrative Duties

- Review, modify and prepare general templates, letters, reports and other correspondence materials; compile and summarize information, as applicable.
- Update/maintain internal documentation.
- Ad hoc tasks and projects in social media.

Requirements

- Experience and Qualification:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
- 1 year of related experience in bookkeeping (Preferred)
- TV/Film production assistant/bookkeeping experience is an asset
- Software Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor follow-ups and internal coordination
- Attributes: Team attitude, positive, self-motivated, high attention to detail, solid time-management skills and work ethic
