- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food handling procedures to ensure freshness and safety compliance
- Implement and uphold food safety protocols in accordance with health regulations and company policies
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and excellent customer experiences
- Utilize POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms for order processing, cash handling, and sales tracking
- Conduct interviews and participate in hiring decisions to build a skilled, motivated team committed to excellence
Requirements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or kitchen supervision within the food service industry
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams in quick-paced environments
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros or similar platforms for transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to manage inventory, cash handling, and restaurant operations efficiently
- Prior experience with restaurant management software and food industry best practices
- Knowledge of food handling regulations, health codes, and safety procedures
- Hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous; barista experience is a plus for beverage service roles
