The Machine

Operator is a member of the Production Team with responsibility for operating assigned machines safely, accurately, and efficiently to cut parts to meet production needs. This is a new position being staffed which requires the individual to be onsite five(5) days a week, Monday - Friday 2:30PM to 11:00PM. Programming (nesting) jobs to be cut on laser:



using software to create a program for each part to be cut.

Checking the parts produced to ensure they meet established quality standards. Operating crane for loading material on table; manually loads materials as required.

Operating laser cutter and press brakes: start and shutdown, process program (generate program at the machine for press brakes) troubleshooting, die set up and change.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent knowledge and experience. CNC Operator Diploma/Certificate, post-secondary courses or comparable certification, is an asset.

Experience working with a CNC machine is an asset.

Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings and instructions. At least 1 years' experience working in a manufacturing workplace. Ability to complete Crane/Hoist training. Working in a manufacturing environment daily Hourly Rate $27.32 - $31.16 plus performance-based incentives, rewarding your dedication, hard work, and contributions.
