Role: Technical Lead – AI & Secure Application Development

Technical Lead – Java | Python | Spring Boot | AI | Secure Coding | Microservices

Duration: 12 Months

Location: Toronto (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to lead the design and implementation of AI-enabled application integration, secure microservices, and automated code remediation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Python, Spring Boot, REST APIs, secure coding practices, and AI integration to drive scalable and secure software development initiatives.

Role Summary

Lead application integration for code scanning, remediation automation, and API integration while driving AI-enabled development and secure engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Integrate Checkmarx APIs with AI agent services.
- Design and develop secure microservices for vulnerability ingestion and response.
- Implement automated code remediation pipelines.
- Lead backend API design and development using Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and integration services.




- Enforce secure coding standards and OWASP best practices across development teams.
- Design and implement Source Code Management (SCM) integration for suppression workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
- Support CI/CD integration and automation initiatives.

Required Skills

- Solid development experience with Java and Python.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
- Experience designing and developing microservices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Strong understanding of secure coding principles and code quality best practices.
- Knowledge of OWASP security standards and application security.

AI Experience

- Experience integrating AI recommendations into automated code remediation pipelines.
- Experience building human-in-the-loop AI remediation workflows.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled software engineering and developer productivity solutions.
