Lead critical aspects of regulatory enforcement as the Director of Enforcement and Legal Counsel with CPAB. Focus on enhancing audit quality through legal and regulatory strategy in a versatile working arrangement. As a key senior regulatory leader, you will possess extensive knowledge and experience in investigations and regulatory matters.

This role requires the ability to translate complex legal issues into actionable strategies. Drive CPAB’s mandate by overseeing enforcement teams and collaborating with stakeholders across the audit sector. Key Responsibilities:

- Direct high-profile investigations and enforcement proceedings
- Manage internal teams and legal counsel for effective outcomes
- Advise on compliance, regulatory risk, and administrative law




- Draft and oversee key enforcement documents and recommendations
- Advise on sensitive regulatory matters and lead strategic projects Requirements:
- Juris Doctor and active membership in Canadian law society
- At least 10 years in legal, regulatory, or enforcement roles
- Familiarity with administrative and regulatory processes
- Experience in audit and securities regulation is advantageous
- Ability to manage multidisciplinary teams effectively Lead CPAB’s enforcement initiatives while shaping regulatory standards and practices in the audit sector.
